The K1 Dental team is made up of people from a wide range of cultures, ages and walks of life that our patients can relate to. Our team includes dentists, oral hygienists, and support staff. Dr Adam Evans
Dentist
Originally from the UK, Adam brings a wealth of experience from his own cosmetic dental practice and a long career in both public and private dentistry.
He relocated to Melbourne with his family in 2009. Prior to joining K1 Dental, he worked in the public sector as a senior dentist at the Dental Hospital. There, he demonstrated clinical dentistry to students at the university.
Dr Jaclyn Fahey
Dentist
Dr Jaclyn Fahey graduated from Melbourne University with an honours in the Bachelor of Dental Science. Since then, Jaclyn has worked in rural and metropolitan Melbourne.
Dr Jesse Becker
Dentist
Dr. Jesse Becker is a third generation dentist from Denver, Colorado, USA. He settled in Melbourne in 2015 after graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand, in 2011.
He originally travelled to New Zealand for adventure and made contacts at the dental school and decided to study abroad. He moved to Australia after graduating and met his wife in Gold Coast they moved to Melbourne to pursue their careers.
Dr Jia Wen
Dentist
Jia chose to go into dentistry because she wanted to work in a team environment with a range of people. She enjoys being able to help patients and improve their quality of life. Sometimes the effects of her work are instant, but she also likes seeing the longer journeys that some patients take to get good dental health and aesthetics.

Originally from the UK, James took an exciting step in his career by relocating to Melbourne, Australia, at the beginning of 2025. With over a decade of experience in both hospital and general practice settings, James is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care tailored to each individual's health, function, and aesthetic needs.
Marcia Limas
Oral Health Therapist
Marcia is our Oral Health Therapist who graduated from The University of Melbourne. She is known among our patients for being very gentle, bright, and caring. Patients love her positivity and patience, creating an environment in the dental chair that's very relaxing - especially to patients that tend to get nervous.
Marcia enjoys all spectrums of dentistry, with special interests in periodontics (gum and bone health) as well as aesthetic dentistry. She continuously keeping her dental knowledge and technology up to date by attending conferences and courses, ensuring to provide all her patients with the best treatment and care.
Shaila Timalsena

As a dedicated Oral health Therapist, Shaila is passionate about ensuring the oral health and well-being of her patients. With a gentle touch and a commitment to patient education, Shaila plays a pivotal role in helping individuals achieve and maintain their brightest smiles.
Originally from New Zealand, Shaila graduated as an Oral Health Therapist from Auckland University of Technology.
Angelica Popa

Angelica was born in Romania and arrived in Australia at the age of 21 years. All of her formal Dental education was completed right here in Australia.
Angelica has worked in the dental industry for the past 20 years.
She loves every aspect of her job and is very particular, with a great eye for detail. Angelica is extremely passionate about Health and particularly about Oral Health and the links between the too.
